This didn't work for me... From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sam George Sent: Tuesday, October 22, 2013 11:54 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [mssms] ConfigMgr R2 Secondary Site Upgrade failed
You can update your secondary site DB and fix this issue. If you follow the below steps you should be able to get the upgrade option again. select * from sc_sitedefinition where sitecode = 'abc' select * from sc_sitedefinition_property where sitenumber = 123333 select * from sc_sitedefinition_property where name = 'full version' --update sc_sitedefinition_property set value1 = 1, value2= 1 where id = ID of sec site --update sc_sitedefinition_property set value1 = 'old version' where id = ID of sec site /SAM ________________________________ From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [mssms] ConfigMgr R2 Secondary Site Upgrade failed Date: Tue, 22 Oct 2013 16:44:45 +0000 I have upgraded our primary site to R2 successfully. I went to upgrade our two secondary sites and the first one was successful but the second one failed. Is there a way to retry the upgrade process? The only somewhat valid option I see are 'Retry Secondary Site', but that wants to do a full install of the Secondary site and will fail on the Prereq check b/c of an existing site server installation. Every google search I do comes back with completely removing the site/server from the heirarchy, but I have several DPs under this secondary site and my assumption is that by removing the Secondary site, it will also remove all of the DPs underneath that site (please correct me if I am wrong on this assumption). Any assistance or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance... ------------------------------------------ Scott Wilbers Network Administrator Central Technology Services 2100 Stewart Drive Jefferson City, MO 65109 Phone: (573) 634-5600 ext 6420 Fax: (573) 681-6301 <mailto:[email protected]> ************************************************************************************************** Note: The information contained in this message may be privileged and confidential and protected from disclosure.
