What I've seen last month I needed other languages as well with a powerpoint
update.

Which update is shown within Software Center.?

>From that update do a re-download (could be a revision update pending your
settings for that).

That might take an hour before your clients knows about it..so restart your
agent to speed things up.

If that doesn't help, check the (I think it's) CAS.log which CID it can't
find the any location for and verify this with the earlier mentioned update
regarding other languages.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked out a few of the updates and the
English content is showing as downloaded = yes. Any other suggestions?

Check if you're missing the language versions of the specific update..we've
seen that with CRM and with Powerpoint last month.

Basically the logging says that there is no content for the patch it tries
to download..check the update specific logs to find it's ID it tries to
download.

Subject: [mssms] Unable to download missing software updates from DP

For the past week or so I'm seeing a lot of systems that are unable to
download certain updates for installation. In looking at these machines and
seeing the following:

updatesstore.log
In this log I can see all the updates and it's identified them as missing.

contenttransfermanager.log

In searching for this problem a lot of talk has been that it's a boundary
issue. I use IP range boundaries exclusively and can confirm the machines
I've looked at have boundaries configured and they're part of a fast
boundary group with a DP. I've also validated the packages on that DP and
even redistributed them.

Any ideas?
