Thomas,

Does Flexera's App Portal have extensibility points? I bet you could achieve
this in PowerShell, as long as they have a way to interact with it (eg. Web
service, .NET library, etc.)

Cheers,

Trevor Sullivan

Subject: [mssms] question on user attributes

Has anyone been able to climb the LDAP tree on the organization
tab---Manager---Name?

The goal I'm trying to achieve is such..

                User A has Manager A

                Manager A has Manager B

                And so on and on

Within the Flexera shopping store (App Portal) the only built in item is
reading the end user requesting and if approval is needed, go directly to
his/her manager. But in the event the dollar value exceeds a certain figure,
I would like for the next manager in line to receive the notification.

When I spoke with the support team, they indicated that the application
cannot do that, but we would have to build a dynamic group within AD but our
AD Engineer, just told me that it's not possible.

My view, everything is possible, but wanted to see if anyone has been able
to perform this and had success?

Thanks,
