I've used jpegs without issue. They work in software center and application catalog, if I remember correctly.

I grabbed a small PNG icon, which includes transparency, resized it to 200x200px using Paint.NET, and imported it as the icon for the Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) for Windows 7 64-bit Service Pack 1 Application object. When I refresh the Application Catalog, it doesn't show up. Every single other icon, that I've imported from an EXE file, seems to work just fine in the Web Application Catalog. I've attempted several different PNG file imports up to this point, for different Application objects, and have noticed that it is an ongoing behavior. Cheers, Trevor Sullivan [cid:[email protected]]
