What extension are you looking for? Keep in mind that .app is actually a folder.

I am trying to inventory certain file extensions on Mac systems but nothing is showing up in my queries. The file extension is added to the Software Inventory settings and the client is communicating. I found that software inventory on Macs is only a list of applications like add/remove programs.
