About 4 lines below the “1.SMS_DEF.mof” on the page it mentions “// If CM12, save this section to a txt file ending in a .mof extention, and import into Default client Agent Settings, Hardware Inventory.”
That’s all that should be required, importing/enabling the section for sms_def into client settings, adding the section for configuration.mof, and creating the reports.
