Having some weirdness with the search function in the console. Specifically when doing a current node + all subfolders. We have software distribution collections organized in folders by a parent folder called "Software" then subfolders for manufacturer with the collections named after the product. If we try to search for a collection from the Software folder + subfolders we only get a small list of values back (say searching for a collection by its limiting collection, there should be 100+ results but only get like 13 back).
I found the below thread where someone else was experiencing the same behavior. When I check the smsprov.log I can see that the query generated when doing a search is adding about 49 of the ContainerNodeIds to the query when there should be 800+ Has anyone else run into issues with the search function? Also many times trying to do a search crashes my console. We may need to put in a call to Microsoft but I wanted to see if anyone has experienced similar issues. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/e15febc0-8278-40b9-bd7a-622cbc635dce/search-with-current-node-all-subfolders-not-functioning-correctly?forum=configmanagergeneral Jeff Krueger IT - Endpoint Design Services Henry Ford Health System [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> 248.853.4466 ________________________________ CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This email contains information from the sender that may be CONFIDENTIAL, LEGALLY PRIVILEGED, PROPRIETARY or otherwise protected from disclosure.
