I have a couple of questions about hotfix KB2905002. After installing the hotfix on my primary site server. I deployed the newly created hotfix client installs to several servers. I logged on to these servers and noticed a new client version (5.00.7958.1101), but when I checked in the console it is still showing the R2 version (5.00.7958.1000) . Is this correct?
I also noticed that there is a created patch for the console installs. What is the purpose of applying this hotfix to a console install? [cid:[email protected]] [cid:[email protected]]
