So, not really SCCM related, because we don't get that far, but folks here do a lot of PXE booting so I thought this would be a decent audience to ask.
We just got some brand new Dell PowerEdge R620's. They have an Intel(R) 2P X540/2P I350 daughter card in them. We use DHCP reservations to get servers to the right place when they PXE, and up until now, MAC address has always been sufficient to do so. These R620's though aren't using the MAC to ID themselves to DHCP, they are using the SMBIOS GUID instead. I've never seen a client use that for DHCP before.
