I used this solution, thanks to Johan.
Using a virtual router for your lab and test environment http://www.deploymentresearch.com/Research/tabid/62/EntryId/81/Using-a-virtu al-router-for-your-lab-and-test-environment.aspx From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Brian McDonald Sent: Wednesday, January 15, 2014 2:08 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [mssms] Software Updates in LAB environment - Download Location I'm in a bit of a quandary. :) I have stood up an isolated lab environment running SCCM 2012 R2 with no connection to the internet. I created a standalone WSUS server exported the updates, then imported them. I have been able to successfully synchronize updates from WSUS into ConfigMgr. However, when I go to create ADRs I need to specify a download connection. We only have two options and neither option will work in my scenario. Download Software Updates from the internet Download Software Updates from a location on my network. What options to I have to work around this? Do I need to join my standalone WSUS server to my test domain and use that? Seems to be a pain for joining/disjoining the WSUS server from the test domain. I'm curious what others do in their test environments to work around this. Thanks, Brian
