MDT will store an XML file in the user's profile with the deployment shares
that were open the last time it was used. Do you still have a machine that he
logged onto? Look for a "user.config" file in the profile folder (e.g.
C:\Users\<userid>\appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft Deployment Toolkit).

Subject: [mssms] Strange MDT Question : Can't find previous admins
DeploymentShare!

Hi guys,

Weird situation. I took over for another person for a client, and I cannot
for the life of me find where he stored the DeploymentShare for MDT. I've
looked in the shares for this server (hidden and visible) and don't see it
published, I've checked various other shares for it, and I frankly cannot find
it.

Do you know if the MDT DeploymentWorkbench writes any files anywhere that
might clue me in to where these files could be stored? There are a few
physical imaging ISOs we use to build workstations, but those lal appear to
have all of the content on the disc, and no visible clues to file paths. I'm
hoping to find a registry key, .xml or .ini file somewhere on the server where
MDT is installed that might clue me in to where he was saving these files. I'm
about to try in a VM with ProcessMonitor to see if a regkey is created or
something.

  Wish me luck!
