Thanks, will check the next machine that gets reported to me. Worked on the machine the customer gave to me, but already saw about a dozen where ccmsetup didn't delete the folder and shortcuts.

I ran get-childitem "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft System Center 2012 R2" -recurse | where{$_.psiscontainer} | get-acl | Out-Gridview Against my folder and have the following permissions (blacked out item is my currently logged in domain user account). Rip it out with a group policy preference, would be a band-aid fix. Users are now confused as to why they have two Software Centers. One in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager and one in System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager. ------- David http://www.david-obrien.net From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [mssms] Client update from SP1 to R2 Date: Tue, 28 Jan 2014 19:19:08 +0000 Is the folder empty? This is happening to a lot of users in a current project of mine and people start to get confused. The ccmsetup.log actually says it's unable to delete the folder, but doesn't say why. ------- David http://www.david-obrien.net CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE AND DISCLAIMER The information in this transmission may be confidential and/or protected by legal professional privilege, and is intended only for the person or persons to whom it is addressed.
