Hmm, I'm sure that's possible. We're looking at doing the same thing, but a little bit different.
User ConfigMgr for all Macs and Windows, etc....and have that data synch with the service-now data base using their integration here: http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=Microsoft_SCCM_Integration_3.0 Michael Dzikowski Senior Systems Engineer | Ally Technical Infrastructure – Windows Hosting -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Duncan Russell Sent: Tuesday, February 04, 2014 4:12 PM To: 'mssms' Subject: [mssms] Red Hat Satellite data into SCCM 2012 We are managing our Red Hat environment with Satellite, with no plans at this time to switch to using SCCM. However, management has a desire to centralize all asset data in SCCM. We will be pulling in asset data for Macs using a JAMF plugin, for example. Satellite has an API that allows querying data from it. I have been searching around for anyone else importing RHEL data from Satellite to SCCM, but fear that I am breaking new ground on this. Am I a pioneer in this endeavor? Any other ideas to get this data into SCCM (other than the Linux agent of course)? Thanks.
