I had to dig in my email, but I found this issue when we were trying to use
the same report:

spotted the following error in the console when we were looking at this SQL
reporting issue:

1. Appears to require the installation of:
<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2483225>
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2483225 Which has been replaced by the
following hotfix:

. "An update for the bootstrap certificate in System Center
Configuration Manager 2007 Asset Intelligence is available"

. https://premier.microsoft.com/kb/2733615

That fixed our asset intelligence data.

You can use the mof edit that sherry has posted in the past.

http://myitforum.com/myitforumwp/2012/02/21/installed-sql-05-sql08-and-sql12
-version-information-via-configmgr-hardware-inventory/

I am using BDNA for it which works great.

Subject: [mssms] MSFT True-Up Queries for SQL Versions

Hello Everyone,

We're trying to wrap up our MSFT true-up and I'm trying to find all full
installs of SQL and what version, like enterprise or standard.

I've tried to use the AI report, License 01A, but it's definitely not
accurate from what I've checked already.

I'm trying to create some stuff on my own, but can't figure out how to find
the version installed. I've searched online, but still no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Eric Morrison
