I thought someone else released one recently? ________________________________ John Marcum Lead Desktop Engineer Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP ________________________________

Just make a few minor modifications, and you are off and running. The underlying technology still works. I know everyone (including me) has been waiting (some patiently others not patiently) for the next version. As to not go into how life gets in the way and people trying to sell a hacked version of my FREE tool, I've gotten so busy that this project has not moved since it was presented at MMS a few years ago. Yes, it was 99% done with a minor bug that ended up being a larger bug than I had thought. However, I still have plans on releasing it...either as is for the community to finish it or a completed FREE product. Enough on when, why, and how come... Let's get back to your question... You can just do a few tweaks to the code and it will work with 2012! I would ask, what are you wanting to do with the tool? RBAC will help you with the native console to achieve most of what it does. If you just want to do Software deployment you should look into Shopping from 1E or other products in this space. So, how many people are really wanting the new version of this tool?? Email me directly with your request ([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>) with subject line "Ron's web tool" and let's see what the community is wanting. Who knows, maybe the community will drive the completion. Scott Keiffer's Configuration Manager Web Frontend<http://scottkeiffer.wordpress.com/> looks very powerful but it needs a separate server which I don't have. Has anybody succeeded in migrating Ron's tools to ConfigMgr 2012 or are there other web interfaces available (google didn't help me)? We mainly need it for help desk being able to deploy software, reporting, OSD and other customizations. Thanks, Reto -- This e-mail message and any attachments are of a confidential nature.
