There is no official recommendation; however, using a SQL re-indexing and 
statistics rebuild script/task is standard operating procedure for any SQL 
Server database and the method that Steve describes (or one very similar) is 
used by Microsoft IT on their internal ConfigMgr hierarchy. They actually 
detailed this in a session at last year's (last ever) MMS.

Anyone ever set this up and run it on a weekly basis? I was looking at ways to 
try and speed up the console a bit and came across this. Our SQL guy said he's 
familiar with it and he's used Ola's solution on other databases with success. 
Figured I'd check with the community to get opinions before I implemented 
anything.
