Waiting for someone senior to implement it. He’s a bit worried about it working
with a existing wsus infrastructure. But it means I’m capturing new images
using mdt 2012. Using ztiwindowsupdate when deploying when the image gets out
of date. I tried using the script for a build and capture within sccm but it
causes the TS to fail due to reboots required. Guess I’ll just have to wait.

No. That's not possible. ConfigMgr doesn't simply "point" at a WSUS server, it
sucks it in and integrates with it.

There are folks who use the ZTIWindowsUpdate script though to install updates
during a TS.

Why don't you have a SUP though?

Does anybody know if I can point SCCM 2012 to an existing sus server without
synchronizing the updates? I just to be able to apply updates during a task
sequence when imaging a pc.
