Are these applications or packages? Are they being deployed in a Task sequence?
From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Date: Mon, 10 Mar 2014 12:34:30 -0400 Subject: [mssms] SCCM 2012 - Deployment Dependency Woes In SCCM 2012, I’m tasked with pushing out 4 msi installs in a certain order (A, B, C, D and E; E is a script installer that simply kills a process). E’s detection method is based on the main installer, A’s product code. If product code exists, don’t do anything, else install A, B, C & D. I currently have A dependent on B, which is dependent on C, C to D, and finally D to E. The files are downloaded and E is run, and the deployment stops there. D, C, B and A aren’t installed – they aren’t even TRYING to install as there is nothing coming back in my msi log files. The message”Paste due – will be retired” appears in the software center. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
