After. We dont have the funds to stream live.
Maybe one of these days. :) And, the recorded sessions are gated and available only to those that paid for registration. About 8 months later, theyll release as free viewing. 2013s sessions should open up in the next few weeks. Were real early days, so were probably not even to a quarter capacity yet. Like most conferences, registration doesnt truly start until the session catalog is available. I think once the catalog is released and folks are able to schedule their sessions as part of registration, attendance will fill pretty quickly. The catalog should be released sometime in April (most likely 2nd or 3rd week). Thats still about 6 months from the start of the event. Any idea on how many seats are currently left or when it might be full? From: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rod Trent Sent: Mittwoch, 12. März 2014 20:21 To: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: [mssms] OT: Help shape the content for IT/Dev Connections... Yeah, this is a real deal. Full week, with sessions all day long in various tracks. Its unique in the fact that its actually like 5 different conferences going on at the same time. Theres a Windows conference (which includes Windows/System Center/Cloud, etc.), SharePoint conference, Exchange conference, Dev conference, and a SQL conference. Each conference has its own sessions and tracks. One registration gives you access to all of them, so you can actually jump conferences if you want. For example, if you hear something about SQL in the Windows conference, and then see that theres more about that specific topic at the SQL conference, just adjust your schedule on the fly. Sessions are recorded. Plus, theres some cool things that happen during the week. One example is that Windows Weekly records live. I was on as a guest last year from the event. :) The event discount for the hotel is $179 per night. You can find most of that in the FAQ: http://www.devconnections.com/dev14/Public/FAQManagement.aspx Microsoft will be on hand in various ways, much like last year. Were targeting around 2500 attendees for this year, bumping the number just a bit from last year. Thats probably where well stay, ensuring that it continues to retain the User Group feel. As for vendor sponsorships I dont know yet on that. Im sure Ill hear a number soon, but thats really not my area. I wish I'd been paying closer attention to the details of this event. I thought it was much shorter. I probably would have rather done this than TechEd but I've already paid for and booked a plane to TechEd. Rod . How many sessions will be per day? How much are the hotel rooms? What's the expected number of guests? How many vendors are signed up? Will there be any sponsorship by Microsoft? The call for sessions and speakers is already live, but wed like help shaping the finished session catalog. http://myitforum.com/myitforumwp/2014/03/12/help-shape-itdev-connections-wit h-your-vote-on-content/ _____ Confidentiality Notice: This e-mail is from a law firm and may be protected by the attorney-client or work product privileges.
