Thanks, that is even easier than I thought! From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of LEROY Mathieu Sent: Thursday, March 13, 2014 2:43 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [mssms] RE: "Application" removal
Just redeploy the application to a new collection and select the « Uninstall » action in the Wizard. Double check your uninstall string, if it is an MSI install, no problem, but if its an .exe watch out for strange switches. We now want to uninstall that application. If I look at the Deployment type of the application it has a uninstall string listed. How do you use that to uninstall the application? Do you have to create a separate package with that command line in it? Or can you just say remove this application somehow? First time we have had to do this with an application. I have done it with packages several times. Any input would be appreciated. Mike L.
