Subject: [mssms] Sys Ctr 2012 R2 Config Mgr/running an OSD task sequence using
a USMT 4, but network printers were not captured and restored successfully.

Hi,

Hope someone has resolved this before.

Using ConfigMgr 2012 R2 to image Windows XP x86 to Windows 7 x64 with USMT4
(hard link) and everything is captured and restored except network printers.

Last year I used the same USMT4 package in ConfigMgr 2007 R3 in the same exact
scenario as above and all network printers were captured from XP x86 and
restored to 7 x64 with no issues. I deployed UPD drivers in task seq and it
went very smoothly.

We have approx. 1400 printers at 120 sites and it is critical to be able to
backup and restore network printers.

Please let me know if you have a resolution.

Thanks,
Tim
