you can backup and then remove the boot wims from the console and distribution points as they won't be used in R2, new ones will be added when you move to SP1 and then R2 (SP1/R2 use different versions of Windows ADK versus WAIK in RTM), you'll have to do your customizations (wallpaper, f8 command support and any drivers that are required) once R2 installation is complete,
