Thanks for the response. I am sitting behind a proxy and the WSUS Server pulls down the updates fine. I changed the option on the software update point for the rule engine to go direct and it works fine now. I guess I just want to know now what changed for it to just stop failing and why is the way Engine rule downloads are different to WSUS?
