I am having an issue at a site where a machine will be imaged using OSD in ConfigMgr 2007. After the OSD process, the remote tools will propt for credentials. What I found is that the ccmexec log shows:
*Failed to add ConfigMgr Remote Control Users group to the DCOM ACL* If I look at the COM security settings, the local ConfigMgr Remote Control USers group does not have remote activation permissions. This is happening on a significant number of machines, so I need to move from the "what" to the "why" and "how to fix" pretty quickly. Has anyone seen this before? The site is in Native Mode as well, but I don't know if that relates or not. Also, there are a number of GPOs in place. The PCs are being imaged with Windows 7 (from XP). Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jeff
