I think his end goal is to have a solution like this:

Step 1) Enter device name to image
Step 2) Script checks to make sure a MAC exists -> If not, prompt to enter
one and update SCCM record / Create new record with MAC
Step 3) Add record to a collection for imaging

It can be done, but I don't have the code on me right now and don't have
the time to write it & test it.
