I'd be interested in the last patch date as well. I think that'd be a useful
statistic to hand over to the security team when they ask for patch status and
could be used in tracking down clients that haven't been patched since x date
to help obtain 100% compliance. I know there are other ways to go about that
but having a last reboot and last patch date in one report seems pretty handy
to me.

Surajit, here's the query I use for showing their last reboot date. You can
uncomment the first 'where' statement if you want to only show machines that
haven't rebooted over a specific number of days. Hope that helps.

Select
       SD.Name0 'Asset Tag',
       SD.User_Name0 as 'User ID',
       USR.Full_User_Name0 as 'Full Name',
       Convert(VarChar(10), OS.LastBootUpTime0, 101) 'Last Boot Date',
       DateDiff(D, OS.LastBootUpTime0,
       GetDate()) 'Days Since Boot'
>From   v_R_System SD
Join   v_Gs_Operating_System OS on SD.ResourceID = OS.ResourceID
Join   v_R_User USR on SD.User_Name0 = USR.User_Name0
Where  --(DateDiff(D, OS.LastBootUpTime0, GetDate()) >= 60) and
       SD.Operating_System_Name_and0 like 'Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 6.1'
Order By OS.LastBootUpTime0

Ok, I will bite, why do you care about the date of the last Software Update
that was installed? How will that be useful information at all?

Subject: [mssms] Last patch and last reboot date

I would like to generate a report of last patch date and last reboot date\time
for all systems. Is there any query which gives such output in SCCM report?

Also is there any way to find client's service status after reboot by using
query?

Thanks in advance,
Surajit
