IE security settings could be the issue.

I have hta application which is available to users via Software Center (SCCM
2012 R2), so users can launch it as many time as they want with their user
rights. Hta application open up fine and work on Windows 2003 and Windows 2008
but does not work on Windows 2012 server via Software Center. I can launch
application from cache folder directly on Windows 2012 server and it opens up
fine. It just does not want to work from Software Center.

Can’t pinpoint where the issue is. Is it Windows 2012 (obviously because
application work on other two OS) or IE (security zone not letting open hta
application?) or is it Interactive service in Windows 2012 (application is
launching but in system session and not in user session?)? Execmgr log does not
show any failures every time I launch application from Software Center, so log
is not helpful. Have you experienced issue like this before? Any thought or
direction will be helpful.

Thanks,
Anand
