Hey Guys,
I have a crashing SMS_EXECUTIVE Service on my Primary Site. According to this Blogpost: http://blogs.technet.com/b/configurationmgr/archive/2013/01/29/troubleshooting-configuration-manager-2012-2007-and-sms-2003-unhandled-exceptions.aspx i figured out that my SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER is causing the crash. PFV = CAS BAK = Primary Site LOK = Secondary Site This is the thread log that causes the crash: Successfully processed C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\inboxes\distmgr.box\INCOMING\3E883P17.FWD, delete it SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER 29.04.2014 17:22:01 3832 (0x0EF8) Package PFV0000E does not have a preferred sender. SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER 29.04.2014 17:22:02 3832 (0x0EF8) I double checked security & path settings on these failing packages, all seems to work. I don't know if that's causing the problem but: The package is located on the CAS, my PS is trying to send to Package to my Secondary. The PS crashed some weeks ago, we had to restore it using a SQL Backup. Most of the other packages are working fine (4xx). Most of the PFV Packages are not able to update, refresh or even be placed on DP, same error as above. Regards Ben
