Hi All,
Been struggling with this problem all week and I have not been able to resolve
it yet. We have always used UDI task sequences for OSD. Techs will PXE boot the
new computers and run through a short wizard built from the default menus to
configure the name/OU and select software from a list. We previously
encountered an issue where applications were not installing if they were listed
in more than 1 software group, so we moved all of the applications to a single
group. Lately some applications are not being installed at all, and if one
fails it skips the rest of the applications.
So far I have removed all special characters from the application and
deployment type names as I've read that can cause issues. I have also tested
creating completely new task sequences, and completely new applications and
updating the UDI wizard page with those. Also verified that the setting "Allow
this application to be installed from the install application task sequence
action instaed of deploying it manually" is enabled on all applications
affected. Can't seem to find anything to make it work, but the applications
install normally if I add them individually to a task sequence, or deploy to a
client after OSD is complete.
I'd love to know if anyone out there has dealt with this before.
