Hello Dan,

Thanks much! Not sure what I was thinking but I made the change and they are
starting to install!

Thanks again!

Subject: [mssms] RE: Applications not installing but have downloaded to clients

Hi Chris,

Your deployment is acting as prescribed by your settings. Your settings have
made the content available for download, but no mandatory install action will
occur for another year. The clients have seen this deployment and have
pre-staged the content. The deployment is now available and you can manually
initiate the install -which you say you've done on at least one system. If you
want the install to happen in the next few days, say end of this week, you'll
need to set the mandatory date for May 17th, 2014. The deployment will then be
initiated on May 17th, 2014 at whatever time you set.

There doesn't appear to be any issues with your servers since the clients are
seeing the deployment and are able to download content.

Dan

Subject: [mssms] Applications not installing but have downloaded to clients

Hello all again!

Hoping you can help here as I've been searching all over and have not found a
solution yet.

I have two deployments, Lync 2010 for 32 bit, and 64 bit.

The 64 bit deployment I'm struggling on, I'm seeing the content on the client
machine in the ccmcache folder but it never installs. There are no special
characters or any blocked files causing this that I can see. I've also rdp'd to
one of these computers where it has the status of, "Content Downloaded - In
progress" in config manager and manually clicked on install, which worked fine.

The deployment has been set to required, with a deadline a year from now. I did
this in hopes to avoid the past deadline issue.

I've read that this can be caused from special characters in file names,
blocked file types, boundaries, boundary groups, .asp net not installed on dp.
I have confirmed that all of these are not causing the issue. What else can I
look at? >.>

Right now my deployment looks as following..
