Hello everyone, I was hoping to get some feedback on an issue we are having with Power Management in Config Manager 2012 R2. We are using Config Manager for power settings now and have run into some consistency issues. We have quite a number of machines that have successfully gotten power plan settings from the targeted collections but if we place new machines in the collection, they do not get these settings. This also goes for machines that once had successful settings but once reimaged, they are unable to obtain the settings. I haven't been able to find anything similar when searching the internet and haven't found anything on the information from the log files. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, these are not VM's but physical workstations. We have also checked the PM BIOS settings on these machines as well but now luck in getting the power plan settings from Collection.
PolicyEvaluator.log has this entry which is the CollectionID for the collection hosting the Power Management settings: [cid:[email protected]] Last 4 entries in the pwrmgmt.log file: [cid:[email protected]] What is found in the pwrprovider.log file: [cid:[email protected]] These have worked in the past but seems that new machine or reimaged machine that has SCCM power management settings fail. If anyone has experienced a similar issue, any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks, Lyle
