We've done some testing with managing Mac devices but haven't really dug deep
into it yet. We elected to configure a dedicated MP/DP/SUP for Macs and
internet based clients. If you use the same MP as the rest of your devices you
need to have certificates on all you machines. Once you set the MP to HTTPS
you'll need to configure the internet FQDN (any name you want to give it) and
get that published in your internal DNS as the macs will only talk to that MP
by that name.

Subject: [mssms] MP with HTTPS

HI,

I'm working on upgrading our SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 R2. I have an
infrastructure question for you folks. We do have fair number of MAC OS and we
would like to give SCCM a shot with managing MACS. I was wondering for people
that do so, if you are dedicating a management point with HTTPS for MACS or if
you are using the same management point both for your Windows/MAC with HTTPS
enabled. Is there any gothcha with HTTPS Management point enabled?
