Hello All,

We recently performed an upgrade from SCCM 2012 RTM to SCCM 2012 R2 with
Cumulative Update 1. We then migrated our upgraded SCCM 2012 R2 CU1
installation to a new server hosted on Windows Server 2012 R2 (previously
when RTM it was on Windows Server 2008 R2).

In the process I installed a fresh copy of WSUS on the new server and
created a new SUSDB database. Everything seemed fine, server synced with
Microsoft Update without an issue.

On Patch Tuesday the ADR kicked off and wasn't able to download the Adobe
updates (we also use SCUP) but created the deployment anyway and targeted
it to our test collection. I resolved by changing the Anonymous
Authentication on the WSUS website to use the application pool identity
instead of IUSR, the Adobe updates were successfully downloaded and added
to the appropriate software update group.

It is now two days later and the targeted collection still shows no systems
with any of the updates installed. When I check the UpdatesStore.log, I
see the new June updates with Status=Missing, so the clients appear to see
the updates deployed to them, but ScanAgent.log has a lot of entries of
"Sources are not current" and UpdatesDeployment.log shows "Total actionable
updates = 0".

Has anyone seen this before? I'm assuming it has to do with the new WSUS
instance on the new server not being in sync with the old one, as I also
see entries in WUAHandler.log like this: "The new content version (1) of
update source is less than before (195), continuing." but that seemed to
just be an informational or warning message rather than a critical error?

Thanks in advance,

Andrew
