Third this. We looked at this space pretty heavy last years, and went with 
patchmypc. Solar winds had some additional functionality that was nice, like 
automatically creating uninstall packages, but just couldn't justify a 10x 
difference in price.

We used it but only in its capacity to plug into SCCM for 3rd party patches.  
Didn’t use it with its native capabilities to enhance WSUS itself.

That being said it worked great, puts the patches right into ConfigMgr where we 
can use our existing reports.  I didn’t do much with their dashboards.

Current employer doesn’t have a 3rd party solution so I’m pushing for this but 
I’m going to look at Secunia as well.
