After doing some more reading on it, it seems this will be the replacement for
TechEd, Exchange Conference, Lync Conference, and Project Conference. So they
muddled the content of all the smaller conferences together and came up with
that terrible name.

Seems like by combining all them together they collectively become worse.
Probably won’t even try to go to any Microsoft conferences anymore. I can read
new product announcements online, all the really in depth learning will be at
the community led conferences.

Not much except a goal of 25k and getting rid of “Technical Education” in the
name. Plus, the only Microsoft owned events now will be WPC, Build, and this
new one.

I don’t understand how it is any different than TechEd?

This is exactly why “right-sized” technical events like the new MMS and IT/Dev
Connections will be the wave of the future.
