Hi Ransom, Is this issue fixed. Im also getting same error.
Using SCCM 2012 R2 CU2 installed.--(client version also updated) Inorder to deploy windows 7 , I have installed ADK 8.0 on separate windows 7 machine, THen copied those boot files in SCCM 2012 Primary and updated the DP's In client side, After once the policy received, Its running and After rebooting its showing the belwo error's. Task Sequence Error "Windows PE initialization Failed with error code 0x80040154" Restarted the machine and then show the below error as dos mode "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware software change migration cause. To fix the problem 1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer 2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next" If you do not have this disc, contact your systems administrator Satus: 0xc000000f Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible So I have lost my XP data.
