I was the Airwatch admin at a former job. I despise the product. Problem is
that all the MDM solutions out there suck. It's a matter of who sucks the
least. Or who provides the features you want and sucks the least. Hopefully
since AW was acquired by VMWare they have gotten better but I don't know. The
main issue is that all of those products, except for Good, are really new
products and the market literally exploded over night. They can't keep up with
demand so things got sloppy.

At HealthSouth we also had Good. We bought a couple hundred licenses but nobody
would use it. Nobody wanted to use the Good app for mail on iOS. Everyone wants
to use the native email app. Good doesn’t allow that. If your goal is to simply
get email onto a personally owned device and do that securely then sure use
Good. If you want to manage that device and use its built-in features Good is
not a fit for you.

AirWatch was taking some heat for their tech support on the Mac Enterprise
mailing list.

+1 on Airwatch. It’s what we’re using here.

What are the top three vendors we should look at for managing mobile devices in
the enterprise?
Integration with CM is a plus, but not a requirement
