Also, each primary and secondary site supports up to 250 distribution points. 
If you have a lot of DPs, then you may want to consider adding Secondary Sites 
instead of more Primary sites.

You'd usually put a Secondary on the other side of a slow link so as to limit 
impact to said link, and to bound devices to control their communications. Note 
that you'll need to expect communications to go from the devices back to the 
Primary Site servers MP's for registration so a route back needs to be opened.
