Heh fair question, yes.
I have an issue where a bunch of machines get trapped with queued up DTS jobs.
Only way to break out of it is to restart the SMS Agent host on them (clears
out the queue). I’m just wondering what causes it to Queue- I assume that a
client has issues with reaching the DP intermittently, but there should be a
recovery that happens when it can later contact the DP… these guys will go
weeks without contact if unchecked.

Hey folks,

Any idea why DataTransferService might be indefinitely queuing up jobs?
Ex:
DTSJob {0ECC0FD1-96BE-43FC-9CA2-0E32019D3C09} in state 'Queued'.
