SP2 is an update like any other (security or non-security) in SCCM, but I'd
recommend putting it in its own package as its quite large and copying to DPs
will be high enough overhead by itself.

WSUS would be bandwith saving too ;)
But if you really need to deploy it with ConfigMgr, use a package and a vbs or
POSH wrapper (logging, user interaction to close Office Apps etc)

I would recommend WSUS for this. It seems like trying to package all of the
updates or make them standalone applications would be extremely tedious.
