Subject: [mssms] New SCCM High-Ed list

Hopefully this isn't poor mailing list etiquette...

A subset of some of us in Higher Education have been collaborating over email
about SCCM in a pretty informal way over the last year or so. Brian Arkills
has graciously created a mailing list for us at The University of Washington,
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>, to help us to, in Brian's words:

a. Manage these emails

b. Manage who we are sending to

c. Grow our numbers

... it's time to move beyond a guerilla set of folks to something more
organized ...

It seems that we in High-Ed have the same or similar problems to solve when it
comes to implementing Microsoft software because, let's face it, we're closer
to an enterprise of home users, than we are a true enterprise. If you're in
the Higher Education sector and work with System Center, hopefully the traffic
on this list will complement the fantastic and invaluable community and
knowledge here at mssms@myitforum. Come join us.
