when you manually invoke a software inventory (file inventory, really) on one
of those boxes, exactly what happens in the inventoryagent.log on that client?
Does it seem to take forever (days) and/or pause for 4 hours between each line?

for example... what we deployed to (most of the time) overcome that-->

Added a few Windows 8.1 tablets (Panasonic
ToughPads) and two Windows 8.1 workstations. Hardware Inventory appears
to be working but not Software Inventory. Within Resource Explorer,
I can see details under Hardware but not under Software - Product Details.
Though I do see date for Last Software Scan and I do have 1 collected
file showing.

Our SCCM environment is SCCM 2012 R2
CU2, )5.0.7958.1303) running on Windows Server 2012 R2 with SQL Server
2012 ((11.0.5058.0).

I cant seem to pinpoint why it is not
working in the logs. Noticed it wasn't working when updates that
were manually installed through Windows Update were being requested when
I looked through some reports.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Paul
