[mssms] Sccm 2012 sp1 to r3 with cu3 upgrade planning OSD question

Have a question 

Assume I have a working windows Xp OS deployment TS on SCCM 2012 with sp1.

Now if I migrated directly to r2 with cu3 will the same TS work or do I need to 
do any changes ???
