Hey Jeff,

When you create a custom report, there is an option to create new data source:

You should see something like this when you browse to select
your data source - when you select the data source, your data source connection
will be defined like this:

Subject: [mssms] Client push reporting - need to make some custom reports
Date: Tue, 18 Nov 2014 15:17:22 +0000

In hunting down issues with missing clients that haven’t installed through the
client push mechanism, I’ve found the built in reports to be quite helpful.
But now I want to make some custom reports and am having a problem reverse
engineering
the building client push reports. The dataset for the client push details
report appears to be based on a stored procedure, but I can’t find anywhere in
the db or ssrs node where that might be stored. Any ideas? This is what I see
as the dataset, also can’t
find where that data source is from either. Some SSRS/SQL stuff that is
beyond me knowledge at this point.
