yes, replace scenario or refresh.

I view an OS install as an "instance" of the OS. before I image it I want
to verify what is on it and not necessarily replace all of the
applications. unfortunately this cannot be done in an automated fashion yet
because the data is just too dirty.

Sometimes the "copy apps" copies it to itself.
