So I have a Windows Server 2012 non R2 that I am having an issue with some Windows patches failing to install. If I use WSUS or Windows Update, the patches will download and install, but Windows will fail to apply on the reboot and then reverts the patches. This particular server needed over 40 patches, and all but the following six installed. I didn't seem to have an issue installing any .Net or Security, but these standard Windows Update patches fail every time. Installing 1 at a time or all together doesn't matter.
I'm confident the issue is with Windows and not these particular patches. Just wondering if anyone else has ever seen odd behavior like this and were you able to resolve? [cid:[email protected]]
