Well, we have a theory as to what was knocking the OS deployments offline. It looks like the Management Points were overwhelmed and couldn’t field policy requests.
Looking at the status messages we see a HUGE spike of 5101 messages. This indicates a policy update in progress. There were thousands and thousands of these messages. It looked as though just about all the packages referenced by any task sequence were updating. Once it had completed plowing through all of these policy updates things “magically” righted itself. Now, what caused all the policy updates to begin with is still unknown. Thanks for all the suggestions and tips from everyone.
