You can specify the that OU in your AD system discovery, but if the machines are disabled, Sccm won’t be able to communicate with them.

We currently have a script that disables machines (in AD) and moves them to another OU when they haven’t been online for x days. The issue I have is that the machines are then invisible to SCCM and so they don’t update which collection they are in. We have a collection for ‘All Desktops and Laptops’ which now has a lot of old disabled machines in it, this plays havoc with your compliance reports. Does anyone know if it is possible to update the computer objects in SCCM so that they report the correct collection (and OU)? Ideally we would like the collection to exactly mimic the AD OU. P.s We want to keep the old objects in SCCM so we have some information about old machines, ie we don’t want to ‘clean up’ them.
