Hey guys - I am having an issue with status messages backed up on a MP. I don't have an awesome grasp on the inner workings of the flow of data, so wanted to bounce it off of you guys.
Environment is SCCM2012R2, no CUs applied. I have 2 MPs, 1 located on my Primary, and another in our DR datacenter. The standalone MP currently has 178K files in the C:\SMS\MP\Outboxes\statemsg.box folder, and it looks like the number continues to trend upwards. I am monitoring the mpfdm.log file, and it is successfully moving these files to the statesys.box\incoming folder on my Primary server, however, at what seems like a slow pace. I can see the files processing in the statesys.log file on my primary server, however it doesn't look very active, as I get messages saying that the threads have terminated normally. Any thoughts? I pushed out patches last night, but didn't do anything out of the ordinary for our process. We have about 10K clients. We have a 200Mb link between the Datacenters, so network shouldn't be an issue.
