Would you just add the Endpoint role in SCCM only or would you still setup the 
Alerts and Antimalware Polices?

Yes.  All the SCEP-specific actions and reporting would be handled on the 
ConfigMgr side, with the update-specific actions and reporting being handled by 
WSUS.

Question I was tasked with setting up SCEP on our environment. We currently 
dont have WSUS hooked into SCCM and want to keep it that way. So can I push the 
def updates with WSUS but still get the reporting side from SCCM?
